OBJECT: 1706 sq. m storage building with a 44 ares land plot
The company, while optimizing its portfolio of assets, decided to sell storage buildings with a land plot in the southern region of Lithuania, in the city of Marijampolė.
When analyzing the object, we identified its specificity – three refrigerators and a freezer are installed in part of the storage premises – and these factors defined both the potential buyer pool and the recommended selling price.
We presented the sales strategy to the owners and discussed it extensively. The sales process is planned to be carried out in several stages. Initially, the focus was on businesses in the region that potentially may need refrigerators and cooling equipment. In the next stage, we informed businesses located in neighboring territories. Later, we agreed with the owners to expand the potential buyer pool by first finding a tenant for the property. Food carriers were interested in renting the property, but… the war in Ukraine began and the company changed its plans, breaking off negotiations. Almost a hundred calls were made in total, several dozen proposals were sent, and inspections were
organized. Results were periodically presented to the owner, and solutions were discussed to address various situations that arose. The property, despite its specificity and the geopolitical situation that had arisen, was sold within five months!
